Interpretation of a guinea pig. A burble sound like purring means there happy. A screech means there scared. When Squeaking there usually extreamly happy or begging and most times get energetic - you will be able to tell the difference between a screech and squeak.

∙ 13y agoYes! You can teach your pig simple tricks and behaviors with food reward. They can learn to stand on their hind legs, circle, speak even jump over things. Your pig can also learn by himself. One of my sows learned that when she rings a bell in her cage she gets feed.

∙ 12y agoThey can't understand you but when I first got my guinea pig I made a clicking noise when i was trying to catch it to hold it and my pig is a very timid thing so he doesn't like being held so whenever I make that noise he gets scared and runs away! So you can train your pig to know when you are doing things.
