Fluent English flows, as the word fluent suggests. That means that in fluent English the words in a sentence and the syllables in a word are run together. Thus grey day and Grade A are pronounced the same. So are too wise and two eyes. The sentence I am an old Italian is pronounced Ah yama nol ditalian.
