When referring to someone from Denmark, a Dane or the dog a Great Dane, it is spelled Danés (pronounced - dah-NES) in Spanish.
This does not apply to a person's name Dane especially if it is a family (last) name. It is improper to translate a person's name unless that person uses a translation or counterpart.
