Also be prepared to spend a long time in the makeup store. Make sure that the colors you pick out suit your skin tone and that the products are high quality, good value, and suit your skin type. Be sure to read the labels. If you have sensitive skin stay away from chemicals in makeup and go for more natural, organic products. ∙ 10y agoThe best thing you could do is to pay the person who does your hair for a makeup lesson. The second best thing would be to recruit a friend whose makeup always looks really good to go makeup shopping with you and to teach you how to do it.
You could read web sites for a year or watch YouTube videos for a year, and you'd get twice as far in an hour by actually putting makeup on with the guidance of someone who knows how.
