As far as I know, you can't buy equipment in Ether Saga Online, but you can learn vocations. You can go to Roki and...oh i can't remember his name, but the guy by the east exit with two other people that look like kids in the middle, you can go to him too, and depending on your class of weapon, you can choose a vocation, which with the right things and level, you can create a weapon or armor. Very helpful. But sometimes you get armor and weapons on quests. npc's and player trade
