it is possible you have experienced a shortage of money flow to the cashier at circle-K. if you ever intend on nailing that girl you picked up from the truck stop, you must drive her to her dealers house before 10pm. keep in mind that if you have a spare supply of drugs, you could use the girl, high as a kite, to give blowjobs for gas money.
put gas in it
I have a 99 Deville and my car runs at about 190 to 200 degrees
You must put more gas in the gas tank.
Try replacing the motor to the a/c fan on the passenger side of the vehicle. That was the cause for my 98 deville to overheat. They sell the whole assembly for about $150.00 but they also sell the motor separate for $50.00. Its a lil more work but it'll save you $100.00
It has a 195 degree Fahrenheit thermostat so runs around 195 to 215.
just along the driver's side is where the fuel line runs and is bolted onto the car on the undercarriage
beside & below air intake filter box. top of the engine passenger side the belt runs just below it
There is a top radiator hose that runs parallel to the radiator. About six inches below the top hose is another hose that connects from the lower back right area of the radiator to the housing of the water pump. Where the hose connects to the water pump housing is where you'll find the thermostat on a '98 Deville.
The ISP Idle Speed Control controls the speed of the engine and may need to be replaced. It is located top front of the engine next to air intake and has a stop screw sticking out that sets the idle electronically. The clicking is normal and is probably coming from the ISP . My 95 Deville has clicked since it was new.
They say to run premium but mine runs just fine on 87. I did get about 2 miles per gallon better mileage on premium but that's not enough to warrant the difference in cost.
check the fuel pressure regulator by taking the vacum line off it. if the line is wet or some gas comes out of the regulator the regulator is bad change it. I had the same prob and after changing the fpr it was fixed.
my 1997 cadillac deville also runs at 205-220 and it hasn't overheated yet,but you should also know that the cooling fans don't even kick on until the engine temp reaches 222 degrees>>just to let you know. I'm not sure but mine runs between 206 and 219 and seems to be okay with it.
