Try not to wake your hamster up too much. You don't want it to be tired all of the time. If I tried to wake my hamster up, she would bite me, so I would get a treat for her (carrots, nuts, ect.) and put in front of her nose. Then she would be too busy happily eating to bite me!
you make sure its warm because hamsters hibernate because its cold. also entertain them.
Hamsters dont't hibernate they just sleep alot then one night then go crazy and play
i turn on the televison.that's how they go to sleep
well as you know they are nocturnal so they wake up around 7-8 pm and stay up for two hours then go back to sleep then they wake up at 7-8 a-m and stay up for about 1 hour then go back to sleep sorry this is long but my hamster Zoe woke up anytime of the day. RIP Zoe.
Hamsters are nocturnal so, yes. They do sleep a LOT. I had a hamster once and he was sleeping 65%. Hamsters wake up around 4o'clock and will bite until about 5'clock.
hah. this might sound kind of weird but,get thick gloves to pick him up and place him in a box (that has air) or a running ball (my hamster loved those)he just needs to get use to you.*hope this helped
If your hamster is jumpy and looking nervous then you should gently stroke it inside of it's cage and then feed it pieces of food out your hand then that way your hamster will come fond of your smell and will be used to you and when you handle it it wont be nervous no more.
I had a hamster before and my hamster fell out of her cage and chewed on chordes for hours. She ended up okay and lived for 4 more years. So my answer is yes it will be okay.
there is no specific time.
it is died
Hamster are nocturnal animal if you wake them up in the middle of the day chances are they bite.
Well, dwarf hamsters may wake up at different times. Sometimes my dwarf hamster wakes up to eat or go to the bathroom. If they here a noise they might wake up wondering what it was for a while. It all depends, but normally a hamster is a wake at night. They are nocturnal creatures. They will be most active at dawn and dusk.
Does it ever wake up?? But its still breathing??if it is but it is not waking up then it could be hibernating Where do you place your hamster's cage?? it it is too cold?? then they are hibernating..
a bit of a hamster mybs, wouldn't mind being a seagul
Make it nice and warm and cosy and try to feed it some food. This may (note I said may) help it wake up.
I think your hamster is feeding the baby..but maybe you doesn't realise it or doesn't know it...Hamster are nocturnal, they sleep in the day and wake up in the night.http://wiki.answers.com/Are_hamster_a_nocturnal_animals#ixzz19q8JCj2v
