There is a kit available from dealerships to stop the jiggling. This was a TSB that may be able to be fixed under warranty. If not, the kit to do this is cheap and easy to install.
Make sure your apps aren't jiggling if they are press the home button(jiggling apps means you can move them around).
Hold the app you want to delete. Hold it for a couple seconds until all the apps on the page start jiggling. You will see a black x. Tap that and you can delete the app. You can not delete any apps that are part of the iOS software.
The reason why Windows 8 apps may stop working is that they have not been updated. You may be forced to reinstall the apps in order to get them working again.

Click on the IPod symbol, when you plug it in, on itunes. Up top go to "Apps" and select "Sync Apps" off to not sync them :)

You should never get updates from deleted apps or else there's something wrong with your device.
To delete apps on an iPhone 7, press and hold the app icon on the home screen until all the icons start to jiggle. Then, tap the "X" that appears in the corner of the app you want to delete. Confirm the deletion by selecting "Delete" when prompted. Finally, press the Home button to exit the jiggling mode.
