I'm Guessing that your talking about the A/C compressor, in which there are 1 or 2 wires going to the clutch. Disconnecting this wire(or 2) will disable the compressor clutch stopping the compressor from working.

If you are wanting to stop the A/C from working, then just pull the fuse or disconnect the power to the compressor clutch. take the slack by using a half inch rachet on the tension pully,remove the part of the belt from the a/c compressor use a peice of string or tape and mark the slack auto will give you a belt that will be close to what u need . It worked for me
