If you mean stop urges to over-eat or splurge on un-healthy or bad foods, then just think to yourself calmly what the food is. How will it make you feel when you are eating it vs. an hour later? Most likely, you will not be happy after eating it an hour later. Tell yourself you don't want that feeling, and that you can choose something better for you that you can eat without the guilt and it will be fine.
