It depends on why it is leaking.
If engine has fuel pump mounted on the engine then it is leaking gas into crankcase.
No, nor could oil in the gas.
the reasons I can think of right off are, a bad mechanical fuel pump( in which the diaphragm is leaking and gas is running into the oil) or an engine that had flooded during start, or leaking rings which is letting gas run by the pistons into the oil. (last case engine is pretty much worn out)
needle and seat leaking by
CFI ? The fuel pressure regulator could be leaking.
Hi, The float valve is leaking through. The fuel can leak in the intake and down into the crankcase, where it dilutes the engine oil.
how do you stop oil leaking from a 2000 sportster primary cover
Oil always worked for me!!! ....You might have blown your headgasket! This means that your engine coolant is leaking into the oil in the engine and it causes smoke out your exhaust.
you have gasoline leaking into the engine when stopped could be a faulty injector
Needle valve seat is more than likely leaking which will cause gas to flow into the cylinder and down into the oil. Drain the oil and repair the problem as this will destroy your engine.
More information needed is it a vehicle, stationary motor, outboard, aircraft engine ? the usual one on cars is overfilling the oil.
Not knowing what vehicle and engine you have you may have a faulty fuel pump leaking gasoline into the engine crankcase.
