BINGO you have the idea. You can't stop it. One of our problems is we think the Wild West history gives a foundation for gun use, but this is wrong. In the 1800's western towns required people to turn in guns before they stayed in town. Our thinking comes from early western films and John Wayne western films. He was told stories of the west to by Wyatt Earp who was an early advisor on western films before he died in 1929. So, our foundation for gun use is faulty thinking.
Yes it would.
No they are very different things.

gun control
Implementing stricter gun control laws can help reduce gun violence in the United States by making it more difficult for individuals who may pose a threat to obtain firearms. These laws can also help prevent illegal gun trafficking and limit access to firearms for those with a history of violence or mental health issues. Overall, stricter gun control measures aim to enhance public safety and reduce the likelihood of gun-related incidents.

Gun violence occurs for a variety of complex reasons, including societal factors such as poverty, inequality, lack of access to mental health resources, and systemic issues within the criminal justice system. Additionally, the prevalence of firearms in the United States, coupled with lax gun control laws, contributes to the high rates of gun violence. Understanding and addressing these multifaceted issues through evidence-based policies and interventions is crucial in reducing gun violence in our communities.
"The government should implement stricter gun control measures to reduce gun violence and protect public safety."
No violence is good.
Gun violence can be influenced by a variety of factors, including easy access to firearms, socioeconomic disparities, inadequate mental health resources, and cultural attitudes towards violence. Research suggests that the presence of firearms in a community is strongly correlated with higher rates of gun violence. Additionally, factors such as poverty, unemployment, and lack of education can contribute to higher levels of crime and violence, including gun violence. Addressing these complex issues requires a multifaceted approach that includes gun control measures, social programs, mental health support, and community engagement.
