Jack up the motor and replace them. Center of the motor on the sides. Use a block of wood on a floor jack and lift on the oil pan,

Either have air in your lines or you might need a new clutch plate.
Sounds like the heater core is leaking!
When there is a problem with the vent system it dfaults to the defrost setting. Sounds like you have a problem in the doors that direct the air flow.
because all of the gravity is coming up from the ground where air circulates through it
I've been encountering this same problem in my Chevy S-10. I've come to the conclusion that it is coming from the air conditioning unit.
assuming this is Home AC question - speed up the AC fan speed
1) a damaged floor pan . 2) a rusted floor pan . 3) it's not coming from outside, the heater core is leaking.
