WILCOX CORVETTE.COM SHOULD HAVE ALL THE WEATHER STRIPPING
Weather stripping on the front door can be replaced by first removing all of the old weather stripping. Then new weather stripping can be put in place using a type that has a sticky side to adhere to the door frame. The weather stripping should be placed on the closest area to the outside lip of the door frame.

Unfortunately, the convertible top weatherseals for Metro convertible models were discontinued more than a decade ago, and are no longer in the parts system. Your best bet for finding a set will be eBay, a junkyard or any other second-hand source. A good set has been known to go for $50 to $100 on auction sites. The few remaining owners of these rare ragtops have generally come to the conclusion that replacement weatherstrips are mostly unobtainable, and have tried rigging up seals with parts from other convertible models. The Chrysler Sebring convertible has been reported to have seals that may work, but it has not been confirmed.

There are a variety of weather stripping types, but with the old foam type you can just tear out the old stripping before you install the new stripping. If it is very old, there might be some glue residue which can be removed usually with something like nail polish remover. This is how we removed our old stripping.
