Well you don't specifically need medication. However, you could try gargling salt water, squeezing lemon juice in a cup and adding honey and hot water then drinking it. If you fancy some soothing food, eat marshmallows and drink soup. Rest your voice. If you are desperate, suck on cough drops or take anti- inflammatories. Keep drinking water.

Omg I am a throat expert from constantly having tonsillitis and strep throat. Usually hot tea or cocoa will do the trick if not cough drops, but if its really persistent try to gargle with slat water. If all else fails see your regular doctor. Hope i was helpful!!

You can try gurgling saltwater then spitting it out. if that doesnt help check your tonsils with a flashlight, if tonsilss are swollen it could be tonsilitis. if there are whit sticky out dots called pusspockets you might have strep throught, go to a docter when he gives you medications take them normally. he might tell you if you dont feel better by... lets say thursday you'll have to come in for blood tests foor mono, which is where doctors will take over if you're that serious.
