If you mean studying for long periods of time then the trick is breaks of roughly 5 mins every 30 mins but this time differs for everyone so you have to find what works for you. However, if we take your question in a literal sense, there is no way to study for 'long hours' as an hour is a fixed time period and is therefore impossible to be long or short unless you have find a faster than light spacecraft and can slow time by Einstein's theory of relativity, I think, then congratulations but I think that the first option is the most likely. P.S. It may be worth studying some grammar in these 'long hours' of yours.
It's absolutely incorrect to study for long hours at night. Studying long hours at night will distort your sleeping schedule which may give you sleeping disorders or fatigue.
The class schedule isn't your problem. It's the ton of extra hours in the lab and the long, long, long, long hours of study outside the classroom that wear you down. Get into a study group and fasten your seatbelt.
