Just know that it is more important to have a sound understanding of the concepts. You can memorize and learn short-cuts, but if you want to succeed, then understand the laws of the world and the concepts of chemistry. If you can explain the topic to another person, than you have a good understanding of it. Things like the mole, which is a mystery to some second semester students, can become a stumbling block if not learned early. Do more than study: pay attention in class and constantly ask questions and make guesses and then check to see if they are right. Chemistry is the way the world operates - not just something you need to get through in school.
Examples are: assimilation of foods and respiration.
Yes, but you will die more early than we do now and we would have a hard life.

All of them. I don't mean to be flip about this, but think about it. If there were any conditions on Earth that weren't conducive to life, we wouldn't be here, would we? So just about any condition you can think of--temperature, pressure, chemistry, you name it--allows us to survive.
The humankind cannot survive without chemistry.
Just view it as applied mathematics - dont worry about the chemistry.

Chemistry has so many uses in our daily lives that we could barely survive without it. Chemistry knowledge and methods are used to make: Detergents, Drugs and medicines, Textiles, Dyes and pigments and Fertilisers, to name only a few products. Outside of class, make sure to read the material, do practice problems and form a study group. You can do it!
Chemistry is entirely dependent on chemistry. If it weren't for chemistry, chemistry wouldn't exist.
there are five branches: inorganic, organic, analytical, physical, and biochemistry. they could be further broken down into sub-branches such as organometallic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, electroanalytical chemistry, and so on and so forth.
