Go to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology page Click on the Applicants tab at the top and you can find a Reciprocity Application. I believe in California you always have to take the written and practical state exams (I did for esthetician when I moved to California from Minnesota) for licensure. California requires 1600 hours training for cosmetology, as opposed to Florida's 1200. You may have to complete the rest of the hours, or depending on your experience they may accept you for the exam. You can call the Board at 800-952-5210.
i know new york hour for cosmetology is 1000 hours and i Floridas is 1200 so you might need to retest and also take 200 more hours of schooling. i know you also have to contact your state bored for the change

I know here in California you don't switch, but have to get the regular license with the commercial. Call your DMV to see what you do.
You need to be a legal resident of Florida and switch your Illinois licence over to Florida before you can be eligible to be issued a CDL in Florida.
Depends. If you're in the military it's not a problem, but if you're a civilian you must switch over your drivers license.
If you have become a New York resident then yes you not only can but you must. There will be the usual long wait at the DMV, but your Florida license (if valid) will be exchanged for a temporary New York document and presto a new document will come to your New York residence in about two weeks.
The FL Dept. Of FInancial Services States on their site:"If an individual holds a general lines agent license and wish to add or convert over to an adjuster, you must apply online and submit the fees of $55. (No examination is required"http://www.fldfs.com/Agents/Qualifications/5-series.htmBasically, a 2-20 agent can switch the license to an all lines adjuster license, and switch back. The 4-40 license is a customer service representative license, and that cannot be switched over to an adjuster license.
No, it should switch right over. You probably will have to do the eye exam again, but none of the written tests.
yes.you can switch to another court in another country...atleast that's what i did from Florida to Canada
