It depends whether you are riding English or Wester or another style. If you are riding English you shoulw have a saddle pad, saddle, girth, and a bridle. First groom your horse and pick out his or her hooves. Then put the saddle pad on your horse's back ontothe whithers. Then put the saddle on, make sure that your saddle pad is not laying flat, it has to have space between it and the horse(just the very front). Then put your girth on. Put the billots throught the first opening on the girth and on the first hole. Then do the same on the other side. Your horse may puff up so you can't put the girth tight. That is okay for now make it as tight as possible with one finger width between the girth and the horse. For putting on your bridle you must make sure you have a bit of a hackemore or hackema (specifically for the Paso Fino). Put the reigns over your horse's neck and then begin to slie the bridle on. Place your index finger in the back of your horses mouth to make them open it, then place your bit inside. Put the bridle on the rest of the way. And adjust the straps to your horse's size. I sudjest before trying this on your own get someone to help you maybe a trainer.
If the horse is clipped you can lay a quarter sheet or cooler over the horses hindquarters while you tack up. If the horse is not clipped then it most likely is not cold while tacking up.
If you are a new player, without a horse, you can rent a horse with tack in either Earton or Appleton for $200. The horse will be in your inventory for 2 real world hours, and then when your time is up, it will dissapear.
No more than fifteen seconds, maybe a half minute if the horse is tired.
You can get horse riding gear at tack stores! riding gear is called "tack"
A horse will wear a horseshoe that is small and sharp.
To tack up a horse english style (if this is what you mean?) first (after you brush them off) you put on the square pad. Then, you put on the white pad (sometimes called a fluffy pad) then, the saddle. Then you put on the girth and then the bridle and your all done :)
