If you are not handicapped, do not park there. If you are handicapped, you must have a decal on your license plate or a permit hanging from your mirror.
Chevrolet Lumina. Remove the wiring harness or the mirror linkage. Remove the mirror retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new passenger side mirror.

Get rear view mirror adhesive from auto parts store
You gain acess by removing the inside door panel and there will be little holes you can put a socket in to get on the nuts Do not tighten to tight because you will brake the plastic holding the metal screw then it will shake all the time.
check review mirror and side mirrors then proceed to back from parking space
on top of door panel behind the mirror. remove the plastic cover by prying it off. remove the mirror nuts, and then remove mirror. if it has mirror adjustment cables on it. just remove these cables, and put on with new mirror if needed.

Call the dealer and tell them that you need the part # for the mirror, and they will give it to you.
You have to take off the door panel and take the 2 bolts out holding the mirror in place
carefully grab the mirror and give it a tug carefull not breaking it, once it is off you can access the motor

If the mirror housing is ok, A glass shop can sell you a replacement mirror with double sided tape to replace the broken one. It even says "objects in mirror are closer than they appear"
It depends on the company the handicap vehicles are bought/rented from. Some companies would rather give out special license plates while others have a tag hanging off the mirror.
