First, pull the bolt back like you would when you are reloading. On the left side of the gun, there is a steel rectangular button on the end of the reciever right where the bolt is. Pull on it and the button should pop out but not totally come off the gun. Stick your finger in it so it doesn't go back to where it was. Then, pull back on the bolt and it will come out. When you want to put it back in, just do the same thing to the button and push the bolt back in.

What kind of bolt for a gun has number 727 on its bolt?

No way to answer- usually a bolt thatis marked uses a part of the serial number of the gun. Used for military rifles especially, such as the Mosin-Nagant rifle or the K98 Mauser, so that the correct bolt is put back into the correct weapon when cleaning them.

What is the difference between a German Mauser K98 and a Yugo Mauser?

There are few German Mausers.. The main one is the K98 . This was the main issue weapon during WWII. During WWII one of the places K98s were built was in Yugoslavia. The folks in Yugoslavia learned how to make them. After the war they took and redesigned the K98s and designed and made their own models.... They used them in their own army after the war and sold them all over the world. The M48 is my favorite yugo Mauser .
