Feed it and give water to it reguarly. Give it a big cage so it can have daily exercise. give it strokes, to tame it. Don't fuss about with it too much as it could get stressed and have a stroke.
I would imagine a guinea pig named Max would require the same sort of care and attention as would a guinea pig by any other name. It might be a good idea to give him a personalized water dish to make him feel more awesome.
No the owners take care of them
yes a child can handle a guinea pig
guinea pigs approximately live to be about 5 to 8 years. but if you take good care of them, they can live up to 10 years. the longest guinea pig who ever lived was a guinea pig named snowball, who lived to be 14 years and 10 months in UK.

Guinea pigs are very cool animals to have as pets. They can entertain you. You can have lots of fun with them if you take really good care of them.
take it to the vet!! even if you don't have money, tell the vet your guinea pig is sick and you cannot afford to care for it. Because the vet is a HUMAN BEING he will take care of it and not abandone him, in a forest.
When I had to show my parents I could take care of my guinea pig Snickers, I did a lot of research and make a packet study guide type thing. That had everything I needed to know about guinea pigs; including what they can eat and what they can't, why they need vitamin C, and toys they can have and can't have. It really showed my parents that I had the responsibility to have a guinea pig.
