with hermit crabs there is something called salt water connditioner, or you can buy it in a bottle at a petstore. they usually have it. I knowyou can get them at petsmart.NEVER USE WATER FROM THE OCEAN OR PUT SALT IN WATER!!!IT WOULD KILL YOUR HERMIT CRAB GUARENTEE!!
table salt has iodine which can kill your hermit crab. You need to buy special salt from the pet store.
I buy some hermie salt (sea salt)at petsmart and it tells you how much salt to add in DISTILLED water.
You can't your tap water because the clorine in the water can sofacate them. (they need 70-85% humitity to survive and they CAN drown).
I recommend to go to your local pet store and purchase the calcium sand, even though it is expensive. The calcium sand is ok to be ingested. If you can't get that, get sand from a beach and filter it, but I do not recommend beach sand.
They need to live in a saltwater aquarium with live rock. You also need to add shells to the tank that are larger than the ones on your crabs.
yeahh boi
in saltwater
yes
i cant yes or no i would say kind of sometimes they would be separated and learn to take care of themselves
Hi. I think that Halloween crabs live in both. ^ o ^
fresh water fish
nothing without salt
yes only for a while
No they live in other parts of water in the world.
Hermit crabs can live 10+ years if you take good care of them!
They will die if left in freshwater, their cells will burst. Water follows solute
hermit crabs, definitly. turtles need hige tanks and lots of cleaning. hermit crabs also need much more care than you think they do, but not as much as a turtle.
It will only die after a week or so if you don't take good care of it. If you do take care of it, it could live up to 20 years.
