Door freezer has many floor to place thing in it and they take less space.
There are probably screws around the edge of the inside cover under the seal that runs around the door.
You have to take the inside door trim out of the door, then there will be some bolts on the inside of the door remove the nuts and your door latch will come out.

from the inside. take your door panel off and look around in there. the door handle is usually held on with pop rivets that have to be cut off from the inside of the door.
