You can remove the off a Suzuki 230 4 wheeler by locating the mounting bracket on the floor of the vehicle. Once you find that, you can remove the screws in the plate with a Phillips head screw driver, and take the seat out.
It is under the seat. You need to take an Allen wrench take the seat off and you will see it.
I need to know also --Just bought one yesterday GS450A AND CANT FIGURE HOW TO GET SEAT OFF.
Take off the rear seat. Take off the saddle. Battery is under there. Remember to pull off Positive first, then negative. Hope that helps.
crow bar
There are 2 bolts (1 on each side) at the back of the seat. Remove these, push down on the front of the seat by gas tank and pull backward.
Check out suzukisavage.com yes it comes off!!! You have to take it off to do almost ANYTHING to the bike!!!!, its just two bolts!!!!
get out a socket kit and start unbolting everything that connects it...that how its done on anything with bolts..just take your time and it will be quite easy and quick
remove the seat and the main bolt is there and look between the handle bars and the tank for the other screw.
Go to the back of the a.t.v. and look for a cable with a loop on the end of it. Pull this and the seat should release. cable should be just off-center to the left (just below the plastic), if looking from the back to front of the 4-wheeler
there should be two bolts behind the passenger seat, take those out. pull the strap on the passenger seat forward and pull the seat back. after you take the passenger seat off you can see the bolts for the front seat, take them off and back the seat out of the lip.
