well you unscrew the screws and gun off parts of the barrel you should be left with the inner bit where the bullets go threw!
You can use the N-strike Recon CS-6 barrel (good gun, I recommend it)

The Nerf Recon CS-6 is designed to be an interchangeable blaster, suited for any mission. This is the reason why it comes with a stock, a scope and a barrel extension.
They are available with the Nerf Recon CS-6, Which also comes with detachable stock barrel and sight.
I like the Recon better. It is a lot more comfortable.
The Recon CS-6 was first released in 2008, and has been available since.
You could take the bi-pod off of the Longshot CS-6 and stick it on other blasters like the Recon, or just stick it in a position where it can get a clean shot and not move.
