go to walmart in the auto stereo section they sell the tools to pull out the factory stereo on ford .the 2 tools that are shaped like big (U) . one for each side of stereo
you need special stereo removal kit commonly know as a clothes hanger
Take you car in to a mechanic and have the brakes checked.
According to my Chilton's Auto Repair Manual : For the 1991 Ford Tempo , 2.3 litre four cylinder engine : ( 5.0 US. quarts with engine oil filter change )
Take the stereo out and check the wiring at the back harness. Make sure it is clean and tight.
take it apart and install new brushes and sometimes new bushings.
take out the stereo, find the unit serial number. there are websites that can decode the serial number for you for a small charge, about £5
Take it to your nearest car stereo retailer!
