Most stock radio just unscrew out when you pop off the panel there should be 2-4 bolts depending on the size of the radio
take out the radio , take out the ash tray, there are 2 screws to take off face plate off, once you have the plate off you can see there are 2 screws holding it in place remove them , when you pull it out the wire connectors have locking tabs on them, just be care full not to break them . and you can not put them in wrong or backwards how this helps
Replacing a car stereo is not a difficult process. All you need to do is take off the face plate, unscrew the radio, and unhook the wires. Then place the new stereo in, hook up the wires, screw the new stereo in, and replace the face plate.
Depending on wich Saturn its really easy just pop off the dash around the radio remove the screws take out your radio unplug the wires and buy a new radio w/ wiring harness and face plate.
You have to gentle take the face plate off the front part of your dash. The face plate goes around the radio and the air conditioning controls. There are about 6 clips one on top 2 on each sides and one on the bottom. A flat head screw driver works well. Once you pop that off disconnect traction control, (4x4), and hazards from back of panel. Then there will be some screws holding the radio in take those out and the system should just slide out.
1st you would need to know if the car is a 93 convertable or sports sedan. If the sports sedan, when you say radio...do you mean the face plate on the dash that you see..this is the ICM...the radio component or the ecm is in the dash...
take the dash out and then pull the radio by hand there should only be clips holding it in its very easy to pull as radio

Next, you will need a Phillips screwdriver to take out the screws on the back of the radio, release all the trigger mechanisms attached to the stereo, and then use the screwdriver to remove the mounting bracket.
