You have 4 clips that goes in the radio you put them in then you pull thats it its the best and easiest way to do it

Firstly you figure out how old the radio is. Then you take it to a mechanic and they might be able to take it out. If that doesnt work then your stuffed so get a new car.

Insert radio removal tools in the slots on the face of the radio. You can get these at Best Buy or Circuit City or make them from an old hanging file folder. Note that if you put in an aftermarket radio, you'll affect the k-line of the diagnostics and you may fail emissions and some shops may refuse to diagnose it.
There's no dipstick in new passat, you have to take it to the dealership where they have a special device that hook up to your transmission.
