Needle nose pliars or a fuse puller?
Typically it should not be. The fuse should be located in the home fuse box with its a slot particular to itself. I take it that you are referring to central air.
Take a look under the cover of the fuse box cover...the layout should be there
The fuse box is behind the glove box (jockey box). Open the glove box and take it out by releasing strap on the right side. Pull glove box out and there is yours fuse box
The fuse box is underneath the steering wheel and one is located underneath the glove box, but you have to take out the 4 screws the pull the bottom dash out and that's where the interior fuse box is and also the Maxi fuse box located by the engine colant under the hood.
They are in the central junction box. [the fuse box under the dash] But they are integral with the box. You have to remove the fuse box, take it apart, and they are inside, soldered in. If you can solder, you can replace them.
In order to pull the alternator fuse from a 2000 Toyota tacoma, you have to take two screws out first. One is a10mm screw, it's the easy one to get to, it's on the right side of the fuse box if you're standing on the drivers side. Take that one out, then take off the three bolts that hold the fuse box to the body so you can separate the tabs that hold the fuse box together. Unfortunately, you have to pull the fuse box apart to get to the other screw. Once it is apart, you can get to the little 8mm screw holding the other fuse tab in. Once the screws are out, the fuse slides right out.
The fuse box diagram will be located on the inside cover of the fuse box. The fuse box can be found in the engine compartment.
Look by the driver's side, the fuse box is facing door, turn knob, take off cover, fuse location is on fuse door Look by the driver's side, the fuse box is facing door, turn knob, take off cover, fuse location is on fuse door
I have the same car, its right behind your fuse box...have to take the cover off the fuse box to get it out cuz its way back there...
