1995 Buick LeSabre how do i reset my radio
Yest, the Buick LeSabre from 1992-1994 is the same exact car, inside, outside, underside. Everything is identical, except say for the trim packages and options you get on them. Therefore, yes the cassette radio from a 1992 LeSabre will work in a 1994 LeSabre.
Under the back seat.
located in back window with rear defog
fuse #44 behind left side of dash

yesgo to walmart and buy a plug kit
Remove the decorative radio retaining plate. Remove the retaining screws. Pull the radio out. Remove the wiring harness. Remove the antenna cable.
The 3 sided plastic faceplate just snaps in with spring steel clips that come off with the faceplate. Be prepared to have to hunt for at least one that comes off the faceplate when you pull it off. The radio itself is held in with 2 screws that are obvious after the faceplate is removed.
The code to reset the radio is specific to your car. No one will know that code. If you cannot find the code written down somewhere, contact your Buick dealer for instructions on how to get the code. The radio may need to be removed to get the radio serial # and with that the code, or the selling dealer may have it on file.
This is the section of dash that has the heater & radio controls in it, and removing it is same as process as removing a Ford radio.Buy a pair of the Ford radio tools from Walmart, any auto parts store, Target, etc for about $4.Insert one of the u-shaped tools into the 2 holes on each side of the face of the dash radio/heater control faceplate. Notice the small indentations on the ends - you'll *feel* when those hit the hidden retainer clips.Push outwards on the tops of the tools - which is actually putting an inward push on the hidden retainer clips, releasing their hold on the faceplate. And hopefully just like that, the plate is in your hands.See "Related Questions" below for more description on the process
To replace the radio in the 98 buick you take off the trim and fascia from the dash. This means removing about 4 to 6 screws. After all this there is some wires on the back of the fascia that you need to unhook. These are held in with clips. the radio itself has four screws. Once you take these out the radio should just pull out. I'm going off of my 98 buick lesabre in which i put in a full system.
no. you might have to reset the clock and radio.
Turn off the radio press set adjust hour with scan button adjust minute with search button
The gears inside are stripped just disconnect the electrical plug on the side of the unit and leave it up.
I would call your local Buick dealership. Ask for the service department. Be straightforward and tell them that you need the radio code for a 97 Lesabre have the VIN # on hand and they should give you the code. Some dealerships will only release these over the phone to other dealers so you might want to tell a little white lie that you work for another dealership.
To change the antenna cable on a 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited, a person has to unscrew the old antenna cable from the back of the radio. Then pull the antenna wire out from under the dash and follow it to the antenna. Unscrew the old cable from the antenna. Screw in the new cable and thread it back under the dash in the same path as the old cable and screw it to the back of the radio.
I have a 1997 Buick Lesabre with a GM Radio and would like to know how I can enter a code to unlock the radio. I can opperate the radio from the steering wheel, but not the radio itself. The radio don't display anything on it If you have any info on this I would appreciate it Thank you John
If I remember correctly, you have to pull out the radio buttons that don't correspond to #1 through 6. Hold it out for a while and it will begin to change the hour or the minute.
When the radio was installed in the 1993 Le Sabre, something was bumped or disconnected. You will have to remove the radio then check the system to see what the problem is.
As I recall, it was a matter of turning off the radio, pressing SET, and then holding SEEK or SCAN to set the hours or minutes. When finished, press SET again.
Have vehicle scanned to see if any codes are present
