To remove the front dash of a 1991 Dodge Caravan, first disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Then, remove any screws and fasteners securing the dash, typically found around the instrument cluster, along the top, and at the sides. Carefully pry off the dash panel, taking care to disconnect any electrical connectors for the gauges and controls. Be cautious to avoid damaging any clips or wiring during the process.

The dash indicator will have the "D" circled for a 4spd. The 4spd dash will read PRND3L The 3spd dash will read PRND21

The body computer is the flasher on a 2000 Dodge Caravan. The body computer is mounted behind the under dash fuse box, under the dash on the driver side.
In my 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan ES AWD, the fuse box is a black rectangular box to the right of the battery, as you look into the hood from the front of the vehicle. A lot of them also have fuses under the dash near the P brake pedal.
There is one behind each fog light hole in the front bumper, and one in the airbag computer under the center of the dash.
