There's a few common options. Personally I'd try adding a dob of sour cream or yogurt or whipped cream when I served it to cool it down.
I find acids like vinegar and lemon juice can be mildly effective as well
if there is sugar in it then you can add less or add a little more spices
add mustard powder in it
