You may need an outsider (like a minister or counselor) to help with the conversation. Lots of times, parents don't realize how "grown up" their children are, so you have to do your best to act mature and responsible -- especially if your parents aren't very mature and responsible themselves!
Agree before you start that you won't interrupt each other. It may be easier to talk to them one-on-one, rather than trying to manage a conversation among the three of you!
Show your parents you're listening by "saying back" what you heard in your own words. For example, if they say "Only married people should have sex," you can respond with "Are you saying you want me to remain a virgin until I marry Mr. (or Miss) Right?" This is not a challenge -- you're trying to be sure you heard them correctly and understand what they said. It may be tough to do this at first, but if you "model" good listening skills, they may start following your lead.
Try not to get angry -- that only makes the conversation harder. But if you really can't deal with what they're saying, it's okay to say, "Maybe we should talk about this later."
If your parents "just don't get it," you can say, "I guess I didn't explain myself very well. Let me try again."
Good luck, and don't give up!
You can prove you are responsible to your parents by consistently following through on your commitments, completing tasks without being reminded, and openly communicating with them about your actions and decisions. Show them that you can be trusted by taking initiative, being accountable for your actions, and demonstrating maturity in your behavior.
they seemed to not be working out.. listen to the song " What is love?" by Never Shout Never
a child can be stubborn and misbehave others and also never listen to his or her parents and make his/her own decision.
Definatly not. You should never keep things secret from your parents, even if it's really really embarrasing. If you get stuck, there ARE child helplines out there for 7-25 year olds, so be sure to ring if you get really stuck. ya probley i would not because your parents will find out trust me they will from somebody and if its a small town you like in then ya they would cause in small towns everyone nose everyone and your parents would find out and do you wanna date or do your friends want you to date cause maybe you do cause you wanna fit in with your friends and if your friends want you to lie to your parents then there not your being true friends you have to listen to your parents and don't listen to the girl above she says never keep secrets from your parents witch means she probley is a parent and some secrets are good to keep to yourself and away from your parents
Have you even read the book? Piggy's parents are never mentioned. You really shouldn't be searching the entire book on the Internet.
I'm not sure who Tyga's parents are, because he's never really mentioned them. The only thing I know about his parents are that one of them are Jamaican & the other is Vietnamese.
Elise Estrada never mentioned anything about her parents names. So therefore no one really knows.
The children could either be mad at their parents and never talk to them or they could have nightmares if it was a really big scare. But I think it is best to never scare some one even if they really deserve it.
You never stop listening to your parents. But you can stop doing EVERYTHING they say when your living on your own, out of school, not using their money.
David Bowie composed "Life on Mars?" It is a fantastic song and if you have never heard it you should really listen to it!
