He calls his step father daddy and since he knows his real father his calls him daddy also, she stressed to her son who his real father is and it seems that he knows this. When it is time for his bi-weekly visits with his real father he is excited to go screams daddy, daddy when he sees him,talking on the phone weekly is something he likes to do. If and when he ask to see his father, he is allowed to do so. So I guess it depends on the child I guess. It seems that my grandson's arrangement has work out for the best as he has the best of both: his step father and father who love and adore him.
