well.... you don't teach Autism to anyone! its a disease! however, to teach AUTISTIC CHILDREN no special qualifications are necessary. Teach children to trust their instincts and to recognize warning signs of potential danger. Role-play scenarios to help them practice responding to uncomfortable situations with confidence. Encourage open communication and emphasize that it's okay to say no or walk away from a situation that doesn't feel right.

I wouldn't reccomend it. I have a severly autistic cousin. autistic children tend not to listen to instruction very well. I'de be afraid that the child would get hurt. Try either horse-back riding or music. They are many places where disabled children can ride and it really makes them happy and its safe. My cousin love smusic though. He connects with it very well and it helps him understand things better.
In order to begin working with autistic children, you first need to earn your credentials in early child hood education. Or, if you are just beginning, at least have your basics and have begun early childhood development classes. Other resources would be your local library, online classes for training with special needs children and visit a local children's hospital and obtain their requirements before working in this area.
