Here's how I found out my friend liked me... it wasn't really that awkward, and this is just an idea. If you still go to school and you enter the cafeteria, sit next to her and one of your buddies. Casually, making sure she can hear you, lean over to your buddy and say, "Guess who I like?" If your buddy guesses correctly, simply say "Yes" and continue eating your lunch. It might be a little awkward to look at her at first, but it will get better. Make sure she can hear everything. If you want it to go perfectly, you could plan it out with your buddy.

The fact that your asking this question means it will probably come off as weird. It sounds like you have become found of a girl without her showing apparent interest in you, or without interacting very much with her.

The reason its weird is because there is no way that you as a man should "like" her considering you haven't interacted with her in a romantic sense.

If you have spent time with her, especially in a romantic setting, decided reasonably that you really do like her and she enjoys you the same it would not be weird to tell her you like her and she will most likely be enthusiastic and return the sentiment.
