IF the barrels are original, there is a 2 or 3 LETTER code on the barrels (left side, half inch from the frame of the gun) The website for the Remington Association has the table to decipher those letters to month and year. The grade will be determined by the finish, engraving and wood. You would need to compare your gun to a known specimen of the different grades.
grade is found on the water table
I can tell you it was made in 1928, that's about it. If the barrel is original you can get the month/year from the date code stamp. See related links. Also the Remington model 10 was made by Remington from 1911-1929
Pretty much almost impossible to tell the model just by the sn.
need more information to tell correctly is it 11-48or 11-87
Please tell me how to install the bolt in a Remington Model 512
serial # 301552 Ithica double barrel 20 ga. can anyone tell me value of this gun.Assuming that you have a grade I(field grade) shotgun, your Ithaca flues model shotgun will be valued at between 550-900 dollars for a shotgun having between 10%-70% of its original finish remaining, and a good set of bores.
What model by serial? No
1921 and on they are marked with a barrel code you can look up on the manufactured link on the Remington Society of America, before that need a serial no to tell and then only a year and not the month/year that the code provides.
it.s an early 50s model...semi automatic shotgun..
Impossible to tell without the serial number and all markings on the weapon.
It's all in the details. Check Remington's website.
your Remington model 6 was made in 1998,due to the S prefix on the serial#.
