I would suggest going to www.howstuffworks.com You can get all of the info you need.I typed in agp slots in the search box that is on the site, and it brought up how it works you can also see an inside pic of PC and the slots.

On many motherboards, they usually have only 1 AGP graphics slot. On newer boards, there are 2 or 4 PCI Express slots.
