"they"? There are too many animals in our world,and a lot of poisonous animals,you have to be specific,what kind of animals? If you want to know about snakes, there we go : The venomous snakes, have strong colors,and the non venomous have only one color(but there are exceptions),non venomous usually have a ROUND pupil in the eye,(its better dont try to check it out),some non venomous snakes will try to trick you,by having strong colors like venomous snakes. The venomous snakes have a flat head,the non venomous have a spoon-shaped round head. The venomous snake have an elliptical pupil like a cats eye, and they have a small depression between the eye and the nostril, its called a pit, they use it to sense heat in their prey,contrictors snakes arent venomous, but they are big and dangerous,dont get close to them. If you find a snake dont touch it, call someone,NEVER try to get a snake with your own hands.
