one way to know is to ask her it might be easier said than done but it's the easiest way. It may be easier for your daughter to tell a mother, sister or other feamale person. or if you see used pads in the garbage i think you know.
There is no sure way to tell when your daughter will reach menarche, typically it will be within four years of starting puberty so it is a good idea ot talk to your daughter about pubertyand menstruation from around 8 years old (the average age of menarche is 13 years old).
This includes expalaining the menstrual cycle as a whole - be sure not only to explain the physical changes but also the mental and emotional changes, focus on the positives to help improve your daughters attitude towards her body and menstruation. You should teach her about menstrual products and make sure she has supplies to hand, most girls will use pads at first but introduce options like menstrual cups (tampons are not recommended in pre-teens or teens, at very least not until a girl has had her period long enough to know her flow patterns) - cups can be worn from first period and are a far healthier option than tampons, plus a lot more convenient and reliable for teen girls.
Talk to your daughter about how she might want to celebrate too, celebrating her first period can give her a more positive attitude towards her periods, which has a huge effect on how health long-term - but don't force this if she doesn't want to celebrate. Instead maybe just give her a book explaining everything she needs to know to read in private, and a nice treat.
I noticed the mood change in my daughter first. In girls the breasts grow, hips get rounder and broader and they get pubic hair as well as hair under the arms.Girls also start to menstruate.
cramps
No, that is a symtom of your period. I know it is wierd. Pregancy symptoms are period symptoms :)
She will be sort of agitated all of the time or the whole time she is on her period. Some women break out in their face, others on their arms.
I would enroll your daughter into a boot camp for sure.
A pregnancy test would still be positive even if you were still getting your period
alot of cramps sometimes vomiting
You know you are getting the best quality if you know the brand. It won't run out in a short period of time if it is high quality. Shop at Office Depot and they will give you the best!
It's important that you start to discuss what is likely to happen to your daughter as she approaches puberty. Starting her periods is something she should already know will happen. So talk and discuss, mother to daughter!
Yes, our daughter did the first five months, be sure and let the doctor know.
