You can't exactly tell unless you are a professional but if you want to know roughly then look at their scales to see if they are a bright orange or a dull orange
if they are bright the fish might be still under 1 or maybe around 2 but . . .
if they are dull your fish maybe 5or 6 which means the life isn't going to last much
longer.
