Not when it's older than a youngster. Young budgies have black eyes and they are less muscular than adult budgies. But when budgie is about six months old, it looks and behaves like adult, and it's age is impossible to define. Colour doesn't matter.
Firstly, male budgies will be very loud and will always love to sing with their cage buddies. When the budgie is young, they will have a smooth pinkish-purple cere. They will have a black eye and stripes on their forehead. As they get older, they will have their first moult, so they'd lose the stripings on their head and the cere might change a bit bluer. When they get older they will lose their stripes, have an iris in their eye and have a deep blue (or royal blue) cere.
This can't give an accurate age but a good enough guess. You will have to check the cere of the budgie. At under four months or so, the cere will be whitish-blue. Your budgie will also have stripes on his forehead and a completely black eye. At about 4-5 months, your budgie will have moulted for the first time, and the stripes will disappear. The cere will turn from whitish-blue to brown or tan. At over 6 months, there will be no stripes on the forehead and they will have an 'iris' in their eye. The cere will also be flaky. Females tend to be a bit more aggresive and will bite more. They will also be more quiet unlike males who will sing happily. I knew my budgies were males as one had a blue cere (for males) and my young budgie who I was unsure of was the LOUDEST bird ever!
A female budgie is called a "hen".
when she is old enough to have her period and has a sheman boygirlfriend
You have a female budgie, male budgie's do not lay eggs.
The answer is to avoid doing this. If you put a male budgie and a female budgie together, they will mate.
whatever color you dye them
yes I would say it is possible.
she must be sick.
female or still young
This could be a condition called scaly face. This is when a budgie nose turns brown and scaly which is caused by mites. This could be fatal in the late stages but it is curable. This could also be age related, when budgies get older, their noses turn brown. Correction: When a female budgie's beak turns brown, this is an indication that she is ready to breed.
Because they are probably a mated pair, and she is in charge.
No. A color of a budgie has nothing to do with the way they play but if you had a boy and a girl budgie, the boy would be more easier to teach and more playful as the female budgie tends to bite a lot harder than the male budgie I have over 20 budgies and I got to say the male budgie gets along with each better than the female budgies who will fight for space Ihope this answers your Question.
It should pose no problems as long as the other bird is a female.
