The truth always hurts, but it's best to be honest. You could say something like, "I care about you a lot, but I need some time to myself. There are things I want to see and do before I settle down." This isn't going to stop the hurt for her, but at least you will save her a bit of dignity when you leave. Thanks for being one of the good guys and caring about this woman's feelings because you could have just split and never gone back!

be nice about it. DO NOT tell him over the phone. DO NOT make a friend go tell him. DO NOT write a letter. do it face-to-face. Dont blame it on him. Use "I messages".. say "I feel like.." or "I think that..." or "lately I.." if you use "YOu messages" the he will feel bad.
Be honest with him. Anything else would just be getting his hopes up. If you're dating him tell hime you want to continue just not on a serious level. If he said it out of the blue then ease him into the fact that your not interested.
why don't you love him? is he not hot enough or is he like to... i don't kno, weird? anyway, i would just come right out and say it, but then i might regret it a realize that i really did like him back.
well if you care about this guy at all you should spare his feelings and be easy on him if you still want to be with him tell him but if you don't you shouldn't string him along. when you tell him or her you should be completely honest and conscious of their feelings as well. if they really love you they will wait for you to be ready to love them.

It's not that, I love his twin. Kind of a complicated situation, because both of them like me. I guess the twins think alike! He is a great friend. They both are...
