Disconnect the battery. With the care safely raised, remove the two bolts holding the starter on. Disconnect the wires. Reverse the procedure to install the new starter.
BY getting an Honda all your problem will go away Aman.
Follow pos bat cable to end around flywheel/flexplate area. That will be it.
check the fuse, battery, solenoid, then starter, and all wires in between
The starter is located on the paasenger side of the car, it is to the left of the oil filter. to remove the starter you have to jack the car up and remove it from underneath, remove 2 bolts and it comes rite out
You can use a wire instead of the starter to test the tubes .. I did it, it works !
Try cross referencing starter numbers from 240SX's and in some cases, the Pathfinder.
When my starter went out and i replaced it, I used the same bolts and just slid it into the place where the old starter went. ( I had a KA24DE DOHC) I put it back in connected all the wires and she fired right up for me =) Good luck
Remove the starter and take it to an auto parts store. They have the equipment to test it.
