Where is the tcm in a 1994 chevy S10 Blazer
It's part of the ECU(main engine control module) on this model.
There is no separate BCM. These functions are contained in the TCM under the dash.
Code P0731 indicates that the transmission control module (TCM) has detected an issue with the first gear ratio, specifically that it is lower than expected. This typically points to problems such as low transmission fluid, worn transmission components, or a faulty TCM. To fix it, start by checking and topping off the transmission fluid level. If the fluid is adequate, further diagnostics may be needed to inspect for mechanical issues or to test/replace the TCM.
On mine, it's on the driver's side, just inside the front door, left side under the dash behind a plastic panel. The ECM is there as well and the TCM is just above it.
TCM Malfunction, And/Or Speedometer Sensor Malfunction.
The SEC/timer module is piggybacked to the TCM bracket, under the dash, behind the glovebox area.
