These days, due to security concerns, many presidents and first ladies attend services at a private place like Camp David MD. Mrs. Obama has attended services at several area churches in Washington DC, but she has not officially joined a church in the area because the extra scrutiny and media attention would cause problems for the congregation.
Well, sometimes when people grow up in Christian or Catholic (or Baptist) backgrounds they might feel restained because their parents forced them into that religion, so she strayed and rebelled away from God. That's the most likely cause.
cause he felt like it...XDMartin Luther King moved because he resigned from southern christiancy which is a baptist church. Dr.King was a baptist minister. A baptism is where they dip your head in holy water at a young age but it doesn't have to be a one age just most of the time. Dr. King would baptize people. Baptist is also a certain religion.
Martin Luther King went to Birmingham Alabama because it was the most heavily segregated area at the time. He offered to put himself in jail assuming that other blacks would follow his example. Instead, blacks stayed home. After he got out of jail, he tried to see if any adults would also go to jail for this cause. NO adults stood up, but the children did. The children went to jail and ended segregation.
