There are a lot of different ways to make a friendship bracelet. Here is one of the simplest ways. Take a couple different colored strings (more than 2) and tie them together at the top. Then take one string and make a triangle with it over the other strings and to the left. It should resemble a 4. The single string is the triangle part of the 4 ,the other strings the straight line. take the tail of the string and Tuck it under the others and into the triangle. then pull it through. after a couple times you should start to see a spiral pattern. switch colors whenever.
