Some people prefer the Palomar knot. It is one of the best knots you can use for mono 100% knot strength. I have used this knot for years and never had it slip or break at the knot......Highly recommended. The Palomar knot is a great knot for sure, but not for crankbaits. It can make the bait saw off to one side or the other.
After reviewing several sites, this site was the easiest to learn from, you can use a few of these knots for floats:

If your question is how do I float a fishing rod.
Cut a small section off of a pool noddle and fit in on the butt end of the rod.
You might have to dig some of the tube out in order to fit your rod in.
If your question is how do I put a float on your fishing line.
Usually there is a snap on the top and bottem of the bobber to clip it onto the line. Some you have to tie on.
Make sure the weighted part is down.
Happy fishing
Usually, the leader is tied to the fly line. The most common knot used is a nail knot. However, often a braided loop is permanently attached to the fly line, and leader material is then tied onto the loop. This makes for easy removal of the leader and is convenient for changing leaders when required.
To put a lure on your fishing rod, right click the lure and then click on your fishing rod. The lure should then be attached, and you can use the rod like you normally would.
Before you can get the gold fishing rod you have to get the silver fishing rod and before you get the silver fishing rod you have to get the copper fishing rod. To get the copper fishing rod you upgrade your regular fishing rod at the general store.

There are several differences between a fly fishing rod and a regular fishing rod and the most obvious would be the the way the rod is constructed. Regular fishing rods are usually glued pieces to form the rod whereas the fly fishing rod is usually "glued" together with synthetic materials.
Dig a hole with your shovel, put the fishing rod in, and then fast-forward time, then you dig up that hole and it should be golden.
You get a free twig fishing rod automatically when you go to the fishing pond.
a fishing rod
No it isn't ( although make sure in your country's law of the road book!) as long as when you are actually fishing you have your fishing licence with you and that where you are fishing you are aloud to fish! Make sure when you put it in your car it is put in safely so the hook cant hurt anyone or catch on anything important. Also make sure that if you put the fishing rod in the back of you car there is no one sitting there as if the police pull you over and there are people in the back with a fishing rod on there laps it wont end well for you or the people holding it! Thanks for reading.....
