To tighten the drive chain on a Tao Tao 110cc ATV, first, locate the adjustment bolts on the rear axle. Loosen the axle nuts slightly, then turn the adjustment bolts evenly on both sides to increase chain tension. After achieving the desired tension, re-tighten the axle nuts securely. Finally, check the chain's slack to ensure it's within the recommended range before testing the ATV.

stick a screw driver in sprocket hole into the slits cut for tightening loosen the two bolts and jerk ATV forward
To tighten the chain on a 90cc Arctic Cat ATV, first, locate the chain adjusters on the rear axle. Loosen the axle nut and turn the adjuster bolts clockwise to increase chain tension. Ensure the chain has about half an inch of slack at the midpoint, then re-tighten the axle nut securely. Always double-check the tension after adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
